Researchers at the University of New South Wales have developed a new green steel technology that uses coffee grounds, tyres, and plastics to produce high-quality steel. The polymer injection technology injects shredded end-of-life tyre rubber and plastic into a heated electric arc furnace.

CEO Mark Provis was inspired to set up the charity after witnessing mothers adding bleach to contaminated water for their children. The charity has created 250 boreholes in Senegal.
